Whether it’s your first time stepping foot onto campus or last time walking into Park Boulevard, we’re so happy to have you here!
Who we are.
Established in 1971, Andres Bonifacio (AB) Samahan is San Diego State University’s Filipinx-American organization. We are built upon the values of our namesake, Andres Bonifacio, who led the fight for Philippine Independence during the late 19th century. Ultimately, we strive to share the rich culture and history we hold as a collective people and uplift our surrounding community in doing the same.

Our general body meetings (GBMs) are from 12 to 2 PM every Friday in Park Boulevard! You can get to Park Boulevard by walking past the Cal Coast Credit Union Office next to Oggi’s in the Aztec Student Union.
WHO’S READY FOR FILO-FIELD DAY?!
Filo-Field Day, hosted by USC’s Troy Philippines. The event is built on the values of SPIRIT, PRIDE, UNITY, AND FRIENDSHIP, or SPUFs. Filipinx-American organizations from So-Cal will compete in field-day events, perform a dance for “Roll Call,” and go compete in chants (SPUFs) created by each school. WHO’S GOT THE SPUFS? We’ve got the SPUFS, and so do you; come be a part of FG this year and help us out as we return as reigning champions! Please keep an eye out on our Instagram for more info regarding FG Orientations, games and Roll Call practices, and deadlines! Hey future adings ! Apply for the KASAMA Program!
The Kasama Program is our mentorship program where incoming members of AB Samahan have the opportunity to be paired with a peer mentor, Mentors can offer guidance in academics or careers, or may even become one of your best friends for life — this program is an AMAZING way to build connections and make friends on campus!

 | Hey everyone! Hey everyone! Your Social Activities Chair, Laney, and Director of Funding, KC, are excited to announce our very first Fundraiser & Social happening Friday, September 12, 2025 at Tapioca Express! 🎉 We will meet at the Student Union at 2:20 PM after GBM and walk over to the “Pit” (between P3 & P4) where we will be providing rides if you need one. INTEREST FORM HERE |
Afterward, we’ll head back to campus for a Filo Games Trial practice followed by some fun picnic games near the ENS Field! 🌿 Bring blankets, chairs, or any games you’d like to share. And since it’ll be warm, please remember to stay hydrated and take care of yourself!
