Yesterday, we hosted our 51st Annual High School Conference with over 100 high school students across San Diego and Riverside in attendance. We introduced students to the endless possibilities that higher education offers and expanded upon new skills in various workshops. Thank you to our volunteers, Funcilitators/Kasamas, and Mayari Board for helping make this event happen. Most importantly, a HUGE thank you to our talented and stunning Education Coordinator, Sydnee Rodriguez, for your guidance and leadership in chairing this event. Your passion radiates in what you do for Samahan!

If you weren’t at GBM this past Friday, where were you, skibidi baka Ohio rizzler? Thank you to our amazing ABLE interns for preparing for and hosting such a fun GBM to wrap up the semester! We also appreciate our interns who have been shadowing our executive board members during our past two shadowing phases — you are the future of AB Samahan and we are excited to see how you shape this organization.

In addition, thank you to our CAP Board members for sharing so much insight and knowledge on various topics within Philippine culture. We’ve enjoyed hearing your reports throughout the past few weeks and are looking forward to seeing your work during our upcoming FACN season!

Although it was back in November, thank you to our Media Team babies for joining us for our last meeting of the semester! We learned how to create graphics along with some tips and functions in creating a newsletter.
