Friendship Games 39 Reminders
Great job to everyone who has been coming out to FG Games practices and Roll Call rehearsals — let’s keep working hard so we can take home that win!
Make sure to join the FG 39 BAND if you haven’t already for further announcements and updates!
FG 39 Registration payments can be addressed to our treasurer, Adam Prasodjo, over Venmo or Zelle. Please see the BAND for payment plans and further info.
As reiterated by Dean throughout this week, attendance is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT from this point onwards. Conflicts with scheduling should be communicated in advance with your Games Head(s) and Roll Call Leads as needed.
New Student Representative (NSR) Application — DEADLINE EXTENDED TO TONIGHT!
 | Are you a new SDSU student (First-Year or Transfer) looking to get involved with leadership and the Filipino community on campus? Interviews will take place between Monday, September 16th and Friday, September 30th. New Student Representatives must maintain a 2.0 GPA and be attending SDSU. |
Kasama Orientations
WHAT IS UP MY SAMAHOMIES!!! I, Leni (your Social Activities Coordinator), will be hosting a couple of orientations these next few weeks!!! Mentees, if you’re still confused, have questions, or want to learn more about the program and its terminology, definitely check it out. It’s not mandatory, but I highly recommend coming for one meeting. As for my fellow mentors, it is MANDATORY to come to at least one of the meetings. Syd Rod’s Book Recs
Hi guys! It’s Syd Rod, your Education Coordinator, here! I’m very excited to finally release a project I’ve been working on for months: a book recommendation list! When I was younger, I used to love to read, but as school got harder and life got busier, I lost touch with this passion. I’m hoping that with this list of recommendations, I can at least pull some of you out of your reading hiatuses to give books another shot! Not only does reading make me feel cool and awesome and mysterious, but it can also be a great stress reliever after a long day!
However, I am only one girl with so much time to read so if any of you feel passionately about a book, I would love for you to share it! Recommend your own book here.
