Happy Sunday, Samahomies! There is so much to celebrate, as we have some very special news to share after this past weekend at the 39th Annual Friendship Games up at Cal State Fullerton…

6 FOR 6 WINS AT FG 39!!!

We are so honored to announce that Andres Bonifacio Samahan WON FIRST PLACE at this year’s Friendship Games! We placed FIRST IN ALL FIVE GAMES and Dean, Ryan, Lala, and Shaye sealed the deal by absolutely killing the obstacle course in Final Rampage! Our Roll Call dancers ate it up on stage, props designers made the most amazing and on-theme props, spectators kept the energy and hype going, and SPUF proctors helped us find out what the F in SPUF really means! None of this would be possible without every single one of you who attended or supported Friendship Games in some way.

Special shoutouts to Mayari Board (especially Aiden, Elijah, and Hailey) for making sure logistics ran smoothly and Dean’s parents for keeping us well-fed and supporting us throughout the day!

Lastly, our biggest thanks goes to our amazing Sports and Recreation Coordinator, Dean Acevedo, for leading us to an unforgettable victory and building the foundation of a legacy that Samahan will fulfill for years to come. Thank you Dean, you’re truly amazing!

AB Samahan is honored to be presenting our 40th Annual Filipino American Culture Night (FACN) and we invite you to be a part of it by applying for FACN Board!
FACN Board directors are responsible for overseeing and coordinating the major disciplines within the production. This is a great way to learn about Filipino-American culture and expand upon your leadership abilities. No experience is required, make sure to message the CoCos if you have any further questions!

We are officially halfway through the fall semester; as we approach another round of midterms season and workloads pile up, we may often feel burnt out, stressed, and anxious. One of the best ways to start when overcoming these emotions is to put ourselves in the right headspace.
